The Membership Committee shall be composed of two or more Board members. This committee shall focus on raising overall awareness about Friends of Camp Christopher. The Membership Committee will work to retain all existing members and to recruit new members. The Membership Committee will also support and assist the appointed Webmaster in maintaining and updating the Friends of Camp Christopher social media effort. (ByLaws, Chapter 5, Section 2.4)

Membership is the lifeblood of any organization, and Friends of Camp Christopher is fortunate to have a very active Membership Committee. Since the FoCC’s birth in 2012, Michelle Hildebrandt Dolensky has been involved in recruiting, recording, and communicating with our family of members. With the help and support of her committee members, she works consistently to keep an updated list of our almost 400 members; communicates on a regular basis through the MailChimp system; and shares duties as administrator for our FRIENDS OF CAMP CHRISTOPHER Facebook page. Pre-pandemic, Michelle helped set up our FoCC hospitality table which, thanks to the kind invitation of Catholic Charities, was a presence during Camp registration days. With the dedicated help of Irene Lawrence, the committee utilizes the US postal service with the mailing of our annual appeal letter. Michelle is always looking for Christopher alumni who’d like to help as active members; feel free to contact her to get involved.
